SPOL Account Executive

SPOL seeks a highly motivated, top performing Sales Associate to join our team.  In this role, you’ll develop qualified opportunities from lead through successful contract closing. As a strong cold caller, you’ll research, target, and qualify prospects to build a strong sales pipeline by typically making 30 – 40 dials a day.  You’ll also receive inbound leads from web queries and a dedicated BDR.  

Top Qualifiers 

  • Meet and exceed activity, metrics, and revenue generation targets 
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline with supporting documentation in CRM (Salesforce) 
  • Partner with Sales Engineer to facilitate demos 
  • Create proposals, negotiate contracts, and close new sales 
  • Represent SPOL at conferences and networking events to generate leads and meet with prospects 

Required Skills: 

  • Natural sales hunter who pursues and closes new business opportunities 
  • Successful track record of both cold and warm calling and follow up with key decision makers and stakeholders 
  • Effectively communicate value proposition and creative solutions 
  • Lead complex sales process and close multi-year contracts 
  • Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills 
  • Outstanding ability to develop leads, qualify opportunities, overcome objections, structure and control sales calls, and manage pipeline 
  • Excellent organization and time management skills 
  • Thrive independently and within a team environment 
  • Up to 10% travel 

Education and Experience: 

  • 3+ years successful sales experience in SaaS, cloud, or enterprise technology solutions required 
  • EdTech sales experience preferred  
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus
